JDPC Operations Inc. dba Umi Sushi Express is looking for 1 cook to join our team.

Job Requirements:

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 2-3 years

Cuisine specialties: Sushi preparation techniques, Japanese cuisine

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail, Fast-paced environment

Personal suitability: Organized, Reliability, Team player

Terms of employment: Permanent position

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Clean kitchen and work areas

Salary: $17.62/hour

Benefits: Relocation costs covered by the employer

Work Hours: 30-40 hours per week
