Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare specifications, sketches and layouts for parts used in refrigeration, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Accumulate or assemble mechanical equipment or components
• Establish and conduct tests on complete units and their components and document the findings
• Compare test findings to design specifications and test objectives and make recommendations for the product or test method modifications
• Calculate labour expenses, equipment life, and the available space.
• Evaluate design drawings for new or modified tools by measuring and comparing their measurements with the original specifications
• Schedule and supervise the installation, inspections, and regular maintenance of the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units.
• Assist mechanical engineers by providing technical support

Requirements:

• A combination of a minimum one year of work experience and completion of an educational program in mechanical engineering technology is required.
