Established in 2014 and currently having several locations with a total 20,000 square feet warehouse, Sirius Auto Parts Corp is an energetic, fast-paced, and professional auto parts wholesaler with a head office located in Vaughan, Ontario. Our inventory offers premium aftermarket and OEM parts, which cover all makes and models, and we keep expanding our inventory to meet customers’ needs.

Currently, we are looking for the right person to join the management team. As the Operations Manager, you'll be overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day administrative and operational functions within our organization to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Formulate and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with regulations.
  2. Direct and supervise operational teams, including managers and staff, to ensure smooth functioning of various departments such as inventory control, supply chain, and logistics.
  3. Continuously review and improve operational processes to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and maximize resource utilization.
  4. Contribute to the overall strategic planning process by providing insights and recommendations based on operational expertise and industry trends.
  5. Direct, supervise, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure continuity of supply to deployment facilities.
  6. Prepare reports for the senior management team evaluating supply chain, inventory control, and operation management.
  7. Develop and manage operational budgets, allocating resources effectively to meet operational goals while maintaining financial sustainability.
  8. Identify potential risks to operations and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring business continuity and resilience.
  9. Lead the operations team in responding effectively to crises or emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and prioritizing the safety of personnel and assets.
  10. Provide team coaching and oversee department training activities.

 

Qualifications & Skills

  1. Bachelor's degree required, preferably in the field of business administration, operation management, or a related area; higher education will be an asset.
  2. Minimum 3-5 years of working experience with 2 years of experience as a middle manager; professional experience in the fields of business administration, operation, or a related field will be required.
  3. Exceptional analytical, root-cause-analysis, and decision-making skills with the ability to analyze and understand business practices, elicit and define requirements, and identify appropriate solutions and options.
  4. Proven ability to effectively plan, prioritize, document, and implement sequential completion of tasks and processes to minimize revenue loss.
  5. Effective written and verbal communication including presentation of status updates and recommendations.
  6. Organized, accurate, attention to detail, and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Strong leadership and influencing skills with the ability to work with other internal departments and facility leadership.
  8. Quality experience in supervising, coaching, and mentoring.
