Ichiban Sushi Restaurant

932 Fitzgerald Avenue, Courtenay, BC V9N 2R5

Requires two Sushi Chefs

Salary range $25 - 26 per hour depending on experience.

Must speak English.

Vietnamese is an asset as all staff and suppliers speak Vietnamese.

The successful applicant will be required to

- Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food

- Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities;

- Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards;

- Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff;

- Create new recipes

Applicants should have:

- Appropriate post-secondary food preparation academic certificate or equivalent credential; and

- at least 3 years of Sushi making experience.
