Globacomm Network Inc. is hiring for 2 Technician, cable television for full-time permanent positions. Following is the job description,

Start date of employment: As soon as possible

Wages: $38.00/hourly 32 hours per week

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment.
• Repair cable signals.
• Diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace or repair telecommunications equipment.
• Inspect operation of telecommunications equipment.
•  Repair or replace defective telephone equipment.
• Complete and maintain test and service reports.
•  Determine nature, cause, and location of trouble.
• Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures.
• Connect, disconnect and relocate cable outlets.
• Maintain and repair aerial and underground transmission systems.
• Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers and amplifiers.
•  Install trunking systems, circuits and equipment.
•  Splice, join and connect wires.
• Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment.
• Test equipment to locate transmission faults.

 Requirements:

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience is required.
• Language: English
