Location of work:  Work in employer's home at Waterloo, Ontario N2K 3N8.

 Title of position: Nanny, child caregiver, for private home.

Duties: Provide supervision, support, and companionship to a 16-year-old teenager in the absence of parents during frequent business trips;  Ensure the teenager adheres to his established daily schedule, including timely attendance at school, extracurricular activities, meals, and rest; Coordinate and provide transportation to and from soccer practices, matches, and other scheduled appointments; Prepare balanced, nutritious meals and snacks suitable for a growing teen, considering any dietary preferences or restrictions; Maintain a structured and respectful household environment aligned with the parents’ expectations, including monitoring of screen time, sleep routine, and household rules; Offer gentle guidance and motivation to support academic responsibilities and personal development goals; Monitor and promote the teenager’s emotional well-being, ensuring a supportive and caring presence in the parents’ absence; Perform light housekeeping tasks, including tidying up shared areas, laundry, and maintaining cleanliness in the teen’s personal space; Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on daily routines, any concerns, and the teenager’s progress or behavior; Ensure safety and security in the household at all times, including emergency preparedness and response if necessary.

Terms of employment: 40 hours/week, permanent, full-time, mornings, day, evening, with overtime if needed

 Wages $19 per hour

Work experience required: 1 year to less than 2 years
