Responsibilities
Tasks
• Weld and assemble custom wrought iron and aluminum railings based on client specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings for railing and gate designs.
• Perform TIG and MIG welding on steel and aluminum components with precision.
• Operate metal fabrication equipment such as shears, benders, and punches.
• Inspect welds to ensure structural integrity and compliance with safety standards.
• Fabricate and weld estate gates, fences, and custom architectural metalwork.
• Collaborate with installation teams to ensure welded components fit and align properly.
• Maintain welding tools and equipment and follow shop safety protocols.
• Apply finishing techniques such as grinding and polishing on welded surfaces.
• Participate in custom fabrication projects involving detailed ornamental metalwork.
