Private household at 142 Hurst Ave, Maple, ON, L6A 4Y6 is looking for a Child Caregiver-Private home. Please see the following employment information.

Job Duties:

1. Maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment for children.
2. Prepare nutritional food and snack selections for children.
3. Plan and supervise structured educational activities and playtime.
4. Maintain professional and positive relationships with parents and children.
5. Promote children's emotional and social development, understanding of others and self-actualization.
6. Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
7. Keep up-to-date records of the child’s development, routines, and interests.
8. When necessary, administer first-aid or CPR to children.

Job Summary:

1. The employee is required to be flexible to cover shifts, some weekends. Overtime may be required. Hours will vary from day, night and evenings.
2. Salary: $20 per hour, 30 hours per week
3. Work Site Environment: Non-smoking, Scent-free
4. Work Location: Must work in employer's/client’s home
5. Employment Expected to Start on: As Soon As Possible

Requirements:

1. Completion of Secondary (High) School education is required
2. Previous experience in the same field and/or previous full-time training in the field will be an asset
3. First Aid Certificate; CPR Certificate would be an asset
4. Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English
