Job description
Under supervision, the Service Technician II performs maintenance, preventive maintenance and
minor repairs on equipment that may include air conditioners; 10 to 50 tons, air cooled chillers, diesel
engines; 35 to 2200 hp, pump ends; centrifugal, hydraulic and electric, desiccant dehumidifiers; 500 to
1,500 cfm and electrical distribution equipment in a safe and professional manner. The Service
Technician II must also be able to effectively perform all duties of the Service Technician I.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Manufacturer sponsored training a plus
- Valid G-class driver’s license
- Trade school training of 3-5 years duration or;
- At least 3-5 years of experience repairing and maintaining heavy duty equipment and machinery;
- Related high-profile maintenance and preventative care experience with vehicles and related equipment
- Knowledge of equipment including air conditioners; 10 to 50 tons, air cooled chillers, diesel engines; 35 to 2200 hp, pump ends; centrifugal, hydraulic and electric, desiccant dehumidifiers; 500 to 1,500 cfm and electrical distribution equipment
- Must own tools applicable to this position and have a working knowledge of tools
- Basic knowledge of diagnostic equipment
- Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams
- Basic knowledge of the rental cycle
- Basic knowledge of the company’s computer systems
- Demonstrated verbal and written skills
- Demonstrated time management, teamwork, and customer service skills
Wage/Salary:
Wage: $38.25 per hour
