Job Title: Personal Support Worker - Home Support

• Hourly Rate: $23.00/Hr
• Vacancy: 1
• Terms of employment: Term/Contract 24 months at  40 hours / week
• Benefits:Other benefits
• Employment conditions:Day, Morning, Evening,Night,  Flexible Hours, To be determined, Weekend
• Person Requiring Care: Person with disability
• Able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
• Start date: As soon as possible

Job Requirements:

• Language: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or it's equivalent for foreign graduates
• Experience: 1  to 7 months  
• Security and Safety:Criminal Record Check
• Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks,bending, crouching, kneeling, walking, sitting
• Work Location:Work in employer's/client's home

Job Responsibilities:

• Administer bedside, personal care and medications
• Assist client in the pool, bathing, regular exercise and other aspects of personal hygiene, and assist on his exercise
• Change non-sterile dressings and collect specimens
• Launder clothing and household linens
• Perform light housekeeing and cleaning duties
• Provide companionship and personal care
• Shop for food and household supplies
• Prepare, cook and serve nutritious meals
