14819799 Canada Inc., is operating a restaurant in the name of “Sankalp Restaurant”, which is a franchise of one of the famous South-Indian restaurant brands. We have thousands of clients coming for lunch, snacks and dinner, ordering different combination of Dosas, Idlis, Uthappas,  and a large number of Indian food items with different recipies and flavours of south-indian spices, hurbs, dressings, etc.

We have been operate seven days a week for long hours, and are looking to hire a qualified and experienced candidate who can work in weekdays / weekends (full time – 5 days and 40 hours per week) as a Cook and perform following duties.

Job duties and responsibilities to be performed:

  • Adhere to established recipes and cooking standards to ensure consistent food quality. 
  • Prepare ingredients by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces according to recipes and cooking. 
  • Operate kitchen equipment, including grills, fryers, and ovens, to prepare menu items. 
  • Cook food with proper temperature and using all fresh ingredients of top quality as required.
  • Ensure food and beverages are properly packaged and presented for customer consumption.
  • Adhere to all food safety guidelines and regulations to prevent foodborne illnesses. 
  • Responsible for planning menus, determining portion sizes, estimating food requirements and costs, and also oversee the monitoring and ordering of supplies.
  • Training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of foods
  • Monitoring and managing cooking tools and ingredients

Salary:                            $36.00 per hour

Job Type:                        Full-time

Schedule:                       Day shift / Evening shift / Monday to Friday / Weekends as needed

Supplemental Pay:       Overtime pay / Tips

Education required:   High school graduation.

Experience required: One year in cooking of all types of South Indian dishes.
