Position: Store Assistant Manager
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Work location: 2611 E 49th Ave, Vancouver, BC V5S 1J9
Wage & Benefit: $40.87/hr ~ C$41.00/hr with 4% paid vacation & extended medical plan
Working Hours: 30-36 hrs/wk
Education: Completion of Secondary School
Work Experience: Several years of experience in a related field. College or University degree in business administration is an asset.

Job duties:
- Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of retail businesses, or specific departments within them.
- Lead and manage staff, set responsibilities, and support team performance.|
- Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to forecast demand, assess sales potential, and monitor competitor activity.
- Decide on the products and services to offer and establish pricing and credit policies.
- Build relationships with vendors and negotiate agreements to source merchandise.
- Create and execute marketing strategies to drive sales and brand growth.
- Develop budgets, approve spending, and track financial performance.
- Ensure excellent customer service, resolve issues, and find ways to enhance customer experience.
- Handle staffing needs, including hiring, training, developing, and retaining employees.
