Position – Manufacturing Process Engineering Technologist

Title of the Position:
Manufacturing Process Engineering Technologist (NOC: 22302)

Job Duties

• Assist in specifying, setting up, testing, and commissioning production machinery and tools to support efficient manufacturing operations.
• Conduct experiments and trials for product development, quality improvement, and cost-reduction initiatives, document results, and implement approved changes under supervision.
• Provide hands-on guidance and technical training to production workers, supporting their development in operating and maintaining equipment.
• Participate in building, modifying, and maintaining production facilities and equipment to ensure continuous, safe, and reliable operations.
• Coordinate with licensing, environmental, safety, quality, and electrical inspectors by preparing documentation, arranging inspections, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards and requirements

Terms of Employment

• Permanent, full-time position
• 40 hours per week (8 hours per day)
• Overtime paid at time and one-half after 40 hours per week

Language of Work

• A good command of English is required.

Wage

• $30.15 per hour
• Overtime at 1.5x after 40 hours/week
• Profit sharing and annual bonus included as part of the compensation package

Skills Requirements

• Education: Engineering Technologist Degree or equivalent
• Experience: Minimum twelve (12) months of related experience. Experience with wire and cables.
• Other Skills: Ability to provide technical support, training, and work effectively in a manufacturing environment
