Located at 835C Broadway Ave, Saskatoon, SK, Ace Relax Studio offers professional health and wellness services including massage, acupuncture, cupping, foot massage, and facial care.
The studio is dedicated to helping clients relax, relieve pain, and improve overall well-being through traditional Chinese therapy methods.

We are now looking for a qualified Acupuncturist to join our team.  

 

Position:                                 Acupuncturist

Wage:                                     C$ 28.00 hourly 

Working Hours:                    30-40 hours working / week (to be negotiated)

Vacation Pay:                        4% of gross salary 

Terms of Employment:       Full-time, Permanent

Job duties:  

  • Assess patients’ conditions, including symptoms, imbalances, and physiological disorders, based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) principles.
  • Explain treatment procedures, potential risks, and benefits to patients.
  • Develop and carry out individualized treatment plans using techniques such as acupuncture, acupressure, moxibustion, cupping, scraping (gua sha), or electro-acupuncture.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and document patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • May provide guidance on diet, lifestyle, and traditional wellness practices such as Qi Gong or relaxation techniques.
  • May collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care when necessary.

 

Requirements:  

  • Usually require completion of a three- to four-year diploma program in acupuncture from a private institute or completion of some university undergraduate studies in science and training in a related health care discipline or work experience under the supervision of a registered acupuncturist.
  • At least 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience in acupuncture or related traditional Chinese therapy.
  • In-depth knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine theory, meridians, and acupuncture points.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
  • Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively both independently and within a team.
