Job type: Permanent Full time, 35 hours per week

Education required: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience required: 7 months to less than 1 year

Language required: English

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

The job title of the employee will be Painter. The job duties will be the following:

• Cleaning and preparing surfaces such as walls or floors by scraping, sanding, or washing; remove old wallpaper and loose paint.
• Measuring, cutting and applying wallpaper or other materials to walls, ceilings, or floors.
• Read the instructions to know how much material is needed.
• Mixing paints, stains, and other materials to create custom colors using spray guns or paintbrushes. Applying paint to surfaces using brushes, spray guns, and other tools such as rags and scrapers.
• Set up and take down scaffolding or platforms for working at heights.
• Help customers choose paint colors and wall coverings and give them cost estimates.
