Salary and Benefits

Salary: $25.00 per hour

Current team members are eligible for a $1,000 referral bonus when a referred candidate is successfully hired.

Candidates relocating from outside the Lower Mainland may qualify for $1,500 in relocation assistance, with a commitment to remain with the company for at least 12 months.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist skilled tradespersons by providing tools, equipment, and materials as needed, and supporting various tasks.
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from our work sites.
  • Prepare construction sites by digging trenches, backfilling holes, and compacting earth for renovations.
  • Set up and dismantle temporary structures, like scaffolds, barricades, and signage, as required.
  • Keep the work site clean by removing rubble and debris during renovations.
  • Measure, cut, and assemble construction materials under the guidance of tradespeople.
  • Prepare surfaces for renovations by cleaning and ensuring they are ready for work.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment by maintaining open communication with team members.
  • Follow tradesmen's instructions to mix, pour, and spread materials accurately.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and procedures at all times.
  • Maintain and care for construction equipment, cleaning and safely storing it after each work shift.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss progress, resolve issues, and plan upcoming tasks.
  • Perform other duties as required.

 

Job Requirements

  • No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training.
  • Physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy objects.
  • A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as required on construction sites.
  • Strong work ethic.
