Quality Control Engineer
Location: Edmonton, AB (On-site)
Salary: $54.00 per hour
Schedule: 35 hours per week | Full-time | Permanent | Morning/Day Shifts

At ANET Fiber Tech Inc., we’re driving innovation in fiber technology and communications infrastructure. We’re currently looking for a detail-driven Quality Control Engineer to ensure our operations continue to meet the highest standards in performance, efficiency, and compliance.

Your Role Will Include:

• Conducting studies to determine optimal inventory levels and effective resource use

• Developing integrated or flexible manufacturing systems and procedures

• Analyzing production costs to identify efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities

• Creating and managing maintenance standards, schedules, and programs

• Supervising technicians, technologists, and other engineering team members

• Ensuring all processes align with quality assurance standards

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline

• 7 months to less than 1 year of related experience

• Experience in quality control or quality assurance

• Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written

• High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Able to distinguish between colours (for equipment and system monitoring)

• Must be able to pass a criminal record check

Work Environment:
This position is fully on-site at our Edmonton office (T6E 5E8). Remote work is not available. You'll be working closely with both engineering and production teams in a collaborative office setting.
