Salary: $36.00 per hour for 35 - 40 hours per week

Location: 131 King Street, St Catharines, ON

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook Japanese and Thai meals and dishes listed on the menu for customers and customers with food allergies
• Prepare and cook other styles of cooking out of menu for special events
• Collaborate with chefs to review the menu regularly and make recommendations for new items and required ingredients
• Collaborate with chefs to guide and train line cooks, delegate tasks and help maintain a positive team environment
• Determine cost of food and size of food portion, and monitor the inventory of food
• Check and monitor the quality of cooked items
• Oversee kitchen operations and support staff
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Ensure that food are met quality control standards
• Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
• Clean and maintain kitchen and work area and keep hygiene and safety practices
