Experience required: 7 months to less than 1 year

The job title of the employee will be Cabinetmaker. The job duties will be the following:

• Operate woodworking tools and machinery such as saws, routers, and sanders safely and effectively.
• Interpret architectural and design blueprints to accurately follow specifications and measurements.
• Measure spaces and cut materials accurately to ensure a perfect fit for the cabinets.
• Sand, stain, paint, or apply other finishes to cabinets to achieve the desired look and protect the wood.
• Join pieces of wood using various techniques such as dovetail joints, screws, and wood glue. Repair or refinish existing cabinets as needed to restore or update their appearance.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Calculate the quantity, type, and expense of the materials needed.
