Job Description

Greco Pizza is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Cook to join our team in Souris West, Prince Edward Island. The successful candidate will assist with daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes

• Determine portion sizes and assist with food costing

• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances

• Requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed

• Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness

• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment

• Clean kitchen and work areas

• Operate kitchen equipment and appliances

• Follow food safety, health, and workplace safety regulations

Job Requirements

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

• No experience required – training will be provided

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Attention to detail and good time management

• Ability to stand for extended periods

Work Conditions

• Physically demanding

• Repetitive tasks

• Evening, morning, day, night, and weekend shifts may be required
