88 Supermarket (Killarney) Ltd. o/a 88 Supermarket is looking for 3 Full-Time & Permanent Retail Butchers. (We can consider Part-time as well as Full-time applicants)

Position: Retail Butcher
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Work location: 2611 E 49th Ave, Vancouver, BC V5S 1J9
Wage & Benefit: $23.70/hr based on 30-37.5hrs/wk with 4% paid vacation
Overtime: Overtime rate provided after 8 hrs/day, or 40 hrs/wk
Education: Not Required
Experience: Not required (But, experience in food industry is considered as an asset).

Job duties:

- Cut, trim, bone, and prepare standard cuts of meat and fish in an efficient manner

- Cut, trim, bone, and prepare according to customers' orders

- Operate meat equipment (such as meat saw, grinders, bowl cutter, boning knife, skewer, and twine) 

- Maintain the highest standards related to sanitation, freshness, trim and cutting quality, etc. 

- Ensure orderly, and clean representation of all meat within the butchery department

- Ensure work areas and equipment are cleaned 

- Communicate any maintenance or product quality food safety issues to the supervisor immediately

- May perform other duties as assigned
