Salary: 36.00 hourly / 35 to 40 hours per week

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work setting: Garage, Troubleshooting/diagnostic

Tasks

• Inspecting, repairing, and overhauling diesel engines including turbochargers, EGR systems, DPF/SCR aftertreatment systems.
• Diagnosing electrical and electronic faults including ECM/TCM modules, CAN bus communication, wiring harness testing, and voltage drop analysis.
• Removing and installing transmissions, clutches, differentials, and driveline components.
• Performing air brake system repairs including chambers, valves, ABS systems, and air leak detection.
• Conducting preventive maintenance inspections and ensuring vehicles meet provincial safety standards.
• Following workplace safety procedures and industry regulations.   
• Diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks, including engine, transmission, suspension, brake, and air systems.

• Troubleshoot electrical faults using diagnostic tools (OEM software and scanners).
• Work on DEF/DPF systems including cleaning and regeneration.
• Work on HVAC System
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment following shop protocols and safety guidelines.
