Attractive Kitchen Cabinets Ltd. is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to support its commitment to quality and efficiency. Position Description

Position:  CNC Machinist

Type of employment: Full-Time; Permanent

No of positions: 1

Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible

Work Location: Various locations in Lower Mainland, BC and as per company’s contract.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: $39.00 - $41.00 per hour

Overtime and Vacation Pay

Stable & full-time employment

Job Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings, blueprints, charts, tables, or study sample parts to determine the machining operation and the appropriate sequence of operations to be followed.
• Set up and operate machines for repetitive machining operations such as turning, milling, drilling, boring, etc.
• Lay out the pieces of work and calculate the dimensions and tolerances.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and maintain equipment by following manufacturer instructions; perform preventive maintenance.
• Assemble machined metal parts and sub-assemblies with hand and power tools.
• Test settings by measuring first-run parts, sample workpieces, and measuring positions.
• Ensure safe operations by adhering to safety regulations and procedures.
• Complete production and quality logs to document actions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualification & Requirements

• Completion of high school education
• Relevant education in trade or minimum 2-3 years of work experience
• Working knowledge of machinery and measurement tools
• Solid understanding of operating and production procedures
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and manuals
• Great attention to detail
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Good physical stamina and strength to handle materials and perform repetitive tasks
