HIRING: A Head Baker for our 24 hours operating store in Vancouver, BC!

Employe: Breka Bakery & Café Inc.

Work Location: 740 W Hastings Street, Vancouver, BC V6C 1A3

Position: Head Baker (Permanent/Full-time)

Number of Opening: 1

Wage: $25.00 ~ $28.50 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Hours: 30~40 hours per week

Job duties for this position include:

• Produce the highest-quality products following the recipes.
• Monitor ingredients inventory levels and manage ordering to ensure par levels in stock.
• Scheduling for bakers to maintain operational and service standards.
• Establishes and maintains effective and positive communication amongst all team members. 
• Participate in creations for recipes and new menus by consulting the managerial team.
• Supervise team members and conduct performance evaluations under the manager’s guidance.
• Participate in hiring team members under managers' guidance.
• Ensure food and safety standards at all times.

Job Requirements:

• Language: English
• Completion of Secondary
• Minimum 3 years of baking experience in a commercial environment/café/bakery, or equivalent of completion of a baking-related course/program is required.
• Must be available to work during our 24-hour operational hours.
• Must be available to work ALL weekends/holidays
