Work location: On site, Travel around the GTA
Salary: 36.00 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week

Job Requirements
Languages:English
Education:College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience:Minimum 3 years to 5 years of hands-on installation experience with Schüco AWS/ADS/ASS aluminum systems.
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Working at heights training, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Tasks
- Precision Leveling: Expert use of air shims and laser levels to ensure units are perfectly plumb and square.
- Hardware Integration: Hands-on experience installing SimplySmart hardware, concealed hinges, and multi-point locking mechanisms.
- Site Glazing: Experience with heavy-duty suction cups and handling large-format, high-performance glass units
- Sealing & Flashing: Proficiency with high-performance membranes (e.g., EPDM gaskets, "blue skin" membranes, and specialized pan flashing) to maintain the system's thermal integrity.
- Review and understand architectural and shop drawings before starting work.
- Coordinate with the production team to confirm estimated completion timelines for products.
- Communicate with contractors to review job site conditions before installation.
- Plan and prepare the job site with the team to receive and install windows and doors.
- Conduct safety meetings and discuss the installation plan with the installation team.
- Prepare openings and install windows and doors according to supplier and industry standards.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment required for installation.
- Inspect installations after completion and address any issues with the contractor.
- Adjust installed windows and doors to ensure proper operation.
- Respond to service requests and warranty-related issues when needed.

- Ability to follow Schüco's digital and printed Fabrication & Installation manuals precisely.
