Job description

Barcelos Restaurant of #119 - 2120 Dollarton Highway, North Vancouver, V7H 0B5 requires one full-time, permanent Cook.

Salary range $20.00 - $21.00 p/h depending on experience.

The successful applicant will be required to

- Prepare and cook complete meals

- Manage kitchen operations

- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers

- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food

- Recruit and hire staff

- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment

- Order supplies and equipment

- Inspect kitchens and food service areas

- Clean kitchen and work areas

Applicants must speak English and should have:

completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks

or

completion of a college or other program in cooking

or

at least three years of commercial cooking experience
