Oishii Japanese Cuisine in Beaumont, AB is looking for Head Chef

Restaurant name: Oishii Japanese Cuisine

Work Location: 5302 50th Street suite 108 Beaumont, AB T4X 2Y2

Job Position: Head Chef

Working time and hours: Permanent, Full-time, 30~35 hours a week

Wage: $36.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards

Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities

Estimate amount and costs of supplies and food items

Supervise activities of other chef, cook and kitchen staff

Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions

Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs

Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets and specialty functions

Leading/instructing individuals

Requirement:

- 3 years of work experience in commercial food preparation including some supervisory experience

- Secondary Education

- Able to communicate in English

- Available working on weekends
