HIRING FOR BAKER POSITION IN A LARGE VOLUME BAKERY

JOB LOCATION: LANGLEY, BC

WAGE RATE: $23.0 / HOUR

40 HOURS PER WEEK SCHEDULE

PERMANENT FULL-TIME POSITION

NUMBER OF POSITIONS: 1

ENGLISH IS MANDATORY

SECONDARY SCHOOL EDUCATION IS MANDATORY

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 1 YEAR TO LESS THAN 2 YEARS 

SHIFT TIMES: MORNING/ EARLY MORNING, WEEKDAYS AND WEEKENDS

MUST BE A CANADIAN CITIZEN OR A PERMANENT RESIDENT OF CANADA OR A TEMPORARY RESIDENT OF CANADA WITH A VALID WORK PERMIT

START AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

JOB TASKS:

• Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders
• Bake mixed dough and batters
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff
• Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
• Draw up production schedules
• Train staff
• Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
• Operate machinery
• Organize and maintain inventory
