Tagapan family is looking for a full time loving, caring and responsible caregiver for their 6 years old child. The caregiver will be working at their residence located in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Job Designation: Child Caregiver

Language Preference: English

Education: Completion of Secondary (High) School or equivalent & Course in Child Care will be an asset.
Work Setting: Employer’s Home

Wage:  C$20.50/ hr for 40 hours/week

Experience: Will train

Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada V5R 4Z5

Job duties to be performed:

• Monitor child’s activities and provide supervision during play, home work and other activities.
• Help child develop good personal hygiene habit.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the child at all the time.
• Encourage education activities and provide learning opportunities.
• Offer emotional support and comfort to the children.
• Encourage physical activities, playtime and creative pursuits.
• Assist with routine such as brushing teeth, getting dressed up and having meals.
• Provide regular updates to the parents about the child activities, behavior, and any concern.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks relating to childcare, such as cleaning up after the meals, tiding play area and doing child laundry.
• Take child to and from school and to appointments

Please note no smoking is allowed in or around our house and we seek strictly a non-smoking person.

WAGES & BENEFITS:

• Full time and permanent position, work 40 hrs. per week
• Vacation pay of 4% of wages per year.
