Legal Administrative Assistant (NOC 13111)

Job details:

$35.00 hourly for 30-40 hours per week

Permanent employment-Full time

Starts as soon as possible

Languages: English proficiency

Requirements: High school graduation with 2+ years related experience

Work location: Vernon, BC

 

Tasks:

  • Prepare, format, and proofread legal and contractual documents (construction contracts, subcontractor agreements, purchase and sale agreements, and development-related correspondence) for review and execution.
  • Maintain and organize legal files, corporate records, permits, land documents, and project-related legal documentation.
  • Track important contract dates such as deadlines, permit renewals, insurance certificates, lien periods, and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in activates and compile information related to real estate transactions, financing agreements, permit applications, regulatory and project documentation.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, legal professionals or municipal offices.
  • Determine and establish procedures and routines for administrative tasks.
  • Maintain confidentiality of corporate information.
