Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive warehouse experience, and proficiency with various heavy equipment and warehouse management systems. This role is vital for ensuring efficient order fulfillment, shipping & receiving, and maintaining safety standards across all warehouse activities.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, order picking, packaging, and inventory management
• Operate and oversee heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, and other heavy machinery to load and unload goods
• Manage warehouse distribution processes ensuring timely order fulfillment and accurate inventory control
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and RAMP to track inventory levels, process orders, and generate report.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce safety protocols related to heavy lifting, construction safety standards, and equipment operation
• Train and supervise warehouse staff on proper use of equipment like order pickers, load & unload procedures, and mechanical tools
• Coordinate with manufacturing teams for seamless supply chain operations including shipping & receiving logistics
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies to promote a safe working environment

Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles within a distribution or manufacturing setting
• Strong knowledge of warehouse equipment operation including reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, and other heavy machinery
• Mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, and order fulfillment software such as order picker systems
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control, order picking, packaging, and shipping processes
• Able to communicate effectively in English. Strong leadership skills with the ability to train staff on safety procedures and operational tasks.
