Position: Steel Stud Framer (NOC -72310)
Wage Rate: $37 per hour. 30-35 hours per week.

Education: High School Certificate Required.

Experience: 1-year or more experience is required

Work Locations: Various Locations across Lower Mainland, BC

Job Duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
• Measure, cut and install light-gauge steel studs, tracks, and framing components
• Assemble and erect interior and exterior wall systems, shaft walls, and ceiling grids
• Install metal studs and drywall backing
• Maintain, repair, and modify existing steel framing structures as required
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Supervise apprentices and assist in training less experienced workers

• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems

Work Site Environment:

• Heavy workloads
• Job is physically demanding
