Position: Cook (NOC 63200)

Employer: CHACHA’s Tandoor & Grill, Delta (BC)

Position: 5 (Five)

Work Setting: Restaurant

Job Type: Full Time and Permanent (30-40 hrs a week)

Wages: $ 36.60 per hour and all other benefits are as per Canadian law

Start Date: As soon as possible.

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required

Experience: 2 to 3 years’ experience

Language: English, Panjabi

Job responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: -

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods,
• Plan menus, determine size of food portions,
• estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies,
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas,
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food,
• Order supplies and equipment,
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers,
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment,
• Clean kitchen and work areas,
• Manage kitchen operations

 Work Condition and Physical Capabilities: -

Fast paced environment, Work under pressure, Repetitive tasks, physically demanding, Attention to details, standing for extending periods, Overtime may be required
