1 POSITION – TRUCK DRIVER - LONG HAUL ($36.10 PER HOUR) PERMANENT, FULL TIME, REQUIRED IMMEDIATELY FOR VOLFRE TRANSPORTATION INC., LOCATED AT – 16 HOLLINGSWORTH CIRCLE, BRAMPTON, ONTARIO, L7A 0J7, CANADA

Start Date: As soon as possible

Duties: Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations, Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, Load and unload goods, Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Perform emergency roadside repairs, Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle, Perform preventive maintenance, Receive and relay information to central dispatch, Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo

Language: English

Education: Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate

Work Experience: Will Train

Documentation Knowledge - Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Driver logbook, Accident or incident reports, Trip reports

Communication Systems Experience - Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment

Certificates, licences - Valid driver’s licence – AZ Class, Air Brake Endoresement

Transportation/Travel Experience – Long-Haul
