Position Summary: 

Red Shiso Sushi Restaurant Ltd. is looking for two Sushi Chefs to join their team. 

Job Details: 

Location: 10833 160 Street, Suite 601, Surrey, BC V4N 1P3

Salary: $36.70 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week

Employment Type: Permanent employment, Full time 

Employment Conditions: Evening, Morning, Day 

Employment Requirement: Starts as soon as possible

Job Requirements: 

Languages: English 

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate 

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years 

On Site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. 

Responsibilites: 

Tasks: 

• Create new recipes 
• Instruct cooks in prepartion, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food
• Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff 
• Prepare and cook meals or speciality foods 
• Train staff in preparartion, cooking and handling of food 
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed 
• Address customers' complaints or concerns 

Credentails: Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: 

• Safe Food Handling Certificate 
• Food Safetly Certificate 

Experience and Specialization: Cuisine specialties: 

• Sushi preparation techniques 
• Japanese cuisine
