Job description

We are looking for a child caregiver for my two grandchildren, both minors in Vancouver BC. This will be a full-time position, permanent with 8 hours a day shift and 40 hours per week. 

You will be performing the job duties mentioned below. 

• Discipline children according to the methods requested

• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development

• Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children

• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Organize, activities such as games and outings for children

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals

• Supervise and care for children

• Take children to and from school and to appointments Tend to emotional well-being of children

 Requirement of the Job Position:

• Completion of secondary school is required

• Completion of a training program in childcare or some household management experience would be an asset.

• Basic English is required.

 We are offering:

• $20 per hour

• Optional accommodation available at no charge.

• Does not have to be a live-in child caregiver. Live in is not a condition of employment

• 4% vacation pay
