Requirements: Completion of post-secondary education, Minimum 4 years of Relevant Work Experience

Work location: Vernon, BC

Tasks:

  • Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate administrative and operational functions of the construction company to ensure efficient business performance
  • Oversee daily office operations including coordination between management, project teams, suppliers, and clients
  • Develop and implement company policies, procedures, and administrative systems to improve operational efficiency
  • Manage administrative staff including hiring, training, supervision, and performance evaluation
  • Oversee budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting in coordination with accounting personnel
  • Coordinate procurement and purchasing of materials and services, including supplier negotiation and contract administration
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and contractual obligations
  • Prepare operational reports, project summaries, and performance analysis for senior management
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to support business operations and project coordination
  • Support project managers by ensuring administrative systems, documentation, and reporting processes are properly maintained
