Job Duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints to assess or plan plumbing installations and layouts.
• Install plumbing systems in residential, commercial & industrial properties.
• Installs pipes and fixtures, such as sinks and toilets, for water, gas, steam, air, or other liquids.
• Cut, assemble, and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure.
• Identify and mark areas for pipe fittings in different structures.
• Use manual and electric tools to shape, cut, and thread pipes according to specifications.
• Use various tools & equipment in fitting of valves, couplings and components for tanks, pumps or other plumbing system.
• Inspect and diagnose issues with piping systems and plumbing fixtures.
• Repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning plumbing equipment.
• Estimate the potential cost of the repair or installation.
• Use plumbing tools and equipment safely and effectively, following proper procedures and precautions.

Requirements:

Completion of secondary school is required.
Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in the same occupation is required.

• Physically demanding
• Bending, crouching, kneeling
• Hand-eye coordination
• Work under pressure
