King Heating Products Inc. is seeking an experienced Engineering Service Manager to oversee engineering service operations related to residential and light commercial condensing boiler and hydronic heating systems. The successful candidate will lead technical service operations, coordinate engineering-related projects, supervise technical staff, and ensure high-quality service delivery in compliance with applicable industry standards and regulations.

Salary: $135,000 – $145,000 annually (negotiable)

Hours: 35 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily service and technical operations related to HVAC and condensing boiler systems

  • Develop and implement operational procedures, technical service standards, and installation protocols for residential and light commercial heating systems

  • Assign, coordinate, and review the technical work performed by technicians, installers, and technical support staff

  • Coordinate engineering-related service projects to ensure completion within established timelines and budgets

  • Consult with clients regarding project specifications, system requirements, service solutions, and technical recommendations

  • Oversee installation, commissioning, servicing, diagnostics, and troubleshooting activities for condensing boiler and hydronic heating systems

  • Manage warranty service processes, technical issue investigations, and equipment performance reporting

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise technical and support personnel and support ongoing staff development

  • Develop and implement quality control, risk management, and workplace safety procedures

  • Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, gas installation codes, Technical Safety BC requirements, and company policies

Qualifications & Requirements

• At least College diploma in relevant Engineering fields

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the HVAC, mechanical, engineering service, or energy industry

• Experience with residential and light commercial condensing boiler and hydronic heating systems is an asset

• Experience with AutoCAD is an asset

• Previous supervisory or managerial experience in technical service operations; experience with European boiler systems is considered an asset
