Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service experiences. This is a full time, permanent role, and it involves preparing delicious pizzas and other menu items in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. The Pizza Cook will play a vital part in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and maintaining the efficiency of the kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dough Preparation:
o Ensure the consistency and quality of dough through precise measurements and techniques.
o Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Pizza Preparation:
o Prepare pizzas to order, ensuring each one meets our high standards for taste and presentation.
o Improvise on current menu by experimenting with new recipes and toppings.
o Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Quality Control & Distribution:
o Oversee the consistent production of pizza's and Donair's for takeout and delivery.
o Coordinate with delivery drivers and management to ensure timely and accurate distribution.
o Aid in the preparation of pizza for events and sampling
• Team Collaboration:
o Work closely with the kitchen staff and management to streamline operations. Ensure a clean working environment and foster a safe work culture.
o Provide training and guidance to new team members on pizza making and dough preparation.
o Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for menu innovation and improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Two years previous experience as a Pizza cook or in a similar culinary role.
• Strong understanding of dough preparation and baking techniques.
• Passion for providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Safe Level 1.
