Natural Star Stone Co., Ltd. is a stone fabrication and countertop manufacturing company based in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia. The company specializes in the fabrication, polishing, customization, and installation coordination of quartz, granite, marble, and other custom stone surfaces for residential and commercial projects. Our operation includes in-house fabrication processes, specialized machinery, and a team of skilled production and installation staff dedicated to delivering high-quality custom stone products.

Position Overview:

The Production Supervisor – Stone Fabrication will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily activities of fabrication and installation support staff within the company’s stone manufacturing operations.

Main Responsibilities Include:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of stone fabrication workers and installation support staff
• Schedule and coordinate production workflow to meet project timelines and customer requirements
• Monitor fabrication processes including cutting, polishing, edge finishing, and quality inspection
• Ensure workplace safety procedures and company quality standards are maintained
• Train staff in fabrication procedures, equipment operation, and workplace safety practices
• Coordinate the use of fabrication equipment and machinery to maximize production efficiency
• Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
• Resolve production and workflow issues and recommend process improvements
• Maintain production records and communicate project progress with management
• Assist in planning labour requirements and workflow scheduling
• Ensure materials and finished products meet company specifications and quality standards

Employment Requirements:

• Completion of a college diploma or equivalent education
• Minimum 1 year of experience in construction supervision, fabrication supervision, or related production management experience
• Experience coordinating workers in a fabrication, manufacturing, or construction-related environment
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and production coordination

• Stone fabrication and manufacturing environment
• Supervision of production floor operations, including cutting, polishing, and assembly coordination
