Job Title: Food Service Supervisor 
Terms of Employment: 30-40 hours per week, Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: As soon as possible
Wage: $37.00 per hour
No of Positions: 2
Job Duties:
• Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of food preppers, kitchen helpers, and servers
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies for kitchen and service area
• Oversee and maintain food service requirements and ensure quality of food meets restaurant standards.
• Keep records of inventory, sales, and maintenance and generate reports when necessary
• Prepare work schedules
• Train staff in job duties as well as food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Ensure adherence to food handling, safety and sanitation standards during food preparation, service and clean up.
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience: 2-years experience in food sector is required.
Note: Applicants with a college diploma /certificate in relevant field or management field will be considered with less experience.

Language: English

Ability to Supervise: Staff in various areas of responsibility such as Food counter attendant and food preparers, cooks, kitchen helpers, etc.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast paced environment, work under pressure, combination of sitting, standing, walking.

Personal Suitability: Effective interpersonal skills, flexibility, team player, excellent oral communication, client focus.
