Job Description
CBN Construction Inc. based at 11730 88 Avenue Delta BC Canada V4C 3C3, Canada is eagerly looking for 02 Carpenters to join its team.
Job Duties
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wood, plywood, wallboard, and other building materials according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to determine work requirements.
• Construct, renovate, and repair residential and commercial structures, including walls, floors, ceilings, partitions, and frameworks.
• Install doors, windows, cabinets, trim, moldings, staircases, and other finish carpentry components.
• Fit and install prefabricated building materials and wood products.
• Inspect and verify dimensions, alignment, and quality of completed work.
• Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Select, load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to work areas.
• Prepare and maintain work sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Repair and replace damaged or defective building components during renovation projects.
• Collaborate with other construction team members to complete renovation projects on schedule.
• Perform other carpentry and renovation-related duties as required
Employment requirements
Completion of secondary school will be required.
Two years of experience in trade is required
Ability to walk stands, crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks.
Requires lifting, pulling and carrying of equipment and other objects
Candidate should be willing to work outdoors, indoors and all-weather conditions.
English is required to communicate at workplace
Benefits
As per BC Employment Standards Act, 4% vacation pay of the gross salary each pay period or 10 days of paid vacation (worker will choose). Transportation to and from work location can be provided at free of cost.
