Telecommunications Technician – Full Time

Wage: $38.00 hourly
Hours: 30–40 per week

Job Duties

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair telecommunications equipment and systems
Inspect and test cable signals, trunking systems, and associated equipment
Install telephone systems, cable modems, wiring, and network hardware
Diagnose faults and perform repairs on aerial and underground transmission systems
Conduct service tests and maintain detailed reports
Climb ladders, poles, and work at heights or in confined spaces when required
Provide on-site customer service and technical support

Requirements

Other trades certificate/diploma or equivalent experience
2 to less than 3 years of related experience
Valid driver’s licence
Ability to work outdoors, at heights, and travel frequently
Comfortable lifting up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Basic security clearance, criminal record check, and drug test required
