HIRING ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN (NOC 14200)

Company: Marksmen Construction

Business Address and Job Location: Vernon, B.C,

1 Accounting technician – full time permanent position available to start as soon as possible

Wage: $29.50/ hr. – 30 hours per week (over time paid at $44.25 / hr. after 40 hours per week); 10 days of paid vacation per year.

Requirements:

Education: Completion of High School

Work Experience: 1 year related work experience

Language: English

Tasks:

• Process and verify supplier invoices for payment approval.
• Prepare and issue payments to vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Maintain accounts payable records and reconcile vendor statements.
• Prepare and submit customer invoices for completed construction work and services.
• Monitor accounts receivable balances and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Process employee payroll, including timesheet verification and payroll deductions.
• Record and reconcile payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable transactions in the accounting system.
• Prepare financial reports, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation for management review.
