Position Title: Sign Installer

NOC: 73200 (Residential and Commercial Installer)

Wage Rate: $ 37.00 hourly

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

No. of Hours: 35 hours per week

Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible

Minimum Education: High School Graduation Certificate

Location of Work:  Abbotsford, BC, and the surrounding area on the client's sites across the Lower Mainland, Vancouver, BC

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 Year

 On site

 Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities:

 • Review sign layouts, technical drawings, and project details to understand the requirements of each installation.

• Select appropriate installation methods based on sign location, mounting surface, site conditions, and visibility requirements.

• Take accurate measurements and prepare installation areas to ensure signs are properly aligned, evenly spaced, and securely mounted.

• Install and work with a variety of indoor and outdoor signs, including illuminated and non-illuminated signage, using appropriate tools, equipment, ladders, and lifts.

• Perform sign installation, repair, and maintenance while following workplace safety procedures and maintaining high-quality workmanship.

• Inspect completed installations to ensure signs are correctly installed and meet client expectations.
