We are currently seeking a skilled, reliable, and motivated Drywall Installer to join our dedicated team.

Position: Drywall Installer

Terms of employment: Permanent / Full Time

Vacancy: 1

Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary: $37.25 hourly for 40 hours per week

Language: English

Location: 266 E 58th Avenue, Vancouver, BC, V5X 1V9

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Education: Secondary school

Drywall Installer (NOC 73102) will have to perform all of these duties:

• Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets
• Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound
• Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
• Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
• Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
• Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster, Clean and prepare surfaces
• Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency
• Cure freshly plastered surfaces, Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices and trim

Additional Skills:

Candidate must bereliable and analyze information and plan the things accordingly.  Must be creative as per the customer requirements.
