Job Title: Food Service Manager （NOC60030）
Location: Poncho’s Pub & Grill, Saskatchewan
Job Type: Full-Time Permanent
Salary: $34.00 per hour

Hours of Work: 30 hours per week
Start Date: Immediate

Poncho’s Pub & Grill is a beloved restaurant and bar in the heart of Whitewood, Saskatchewan, known for its warm hospitality and exceptional dining experiences. We are a gathering place for locals and travelers, offering delicious food, refreshing beverages, and a welcoming atmosphere.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Manager to lead our team and uphold the high standards that make us a community favorite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring efficient and smooth service.
• Recruit, train, and supervise food service staff, fostering a positive team environment.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to maintain quality standards.
• Manage inventory, place orders with suppliers, and control food and beverage costs.
• Create and maintain staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.
• Monitor and address customer feedback to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Plan and execute special events, promotions, and seasonal menus.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and licensing requirements.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to optimize menu offerings and maintain consistency.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in food service management or a related role.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, inventory, and scheduling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Post-secondary education in hospitality or restaurant management is an asset.
