HIRING: Home Child Care Provider for an infant-toddler in a private home

Position: Home Child Care Provider (Permanent/Full-time)

Position available: 1

Work Location: 13725 George Junction, Surrey, BC V3T 0V7 (Private Home)

Compensation: $20.00 per hour

Working hours: 30-40 hours per week  

Benefits: Vacation days and Sick days will be calculated by BC Employment Standards.

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily care for children, including feeding, bathing, dressing, diaper changing, and potty training when required.
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks according to the children's dietary needs.
• Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Support children's emotional and social development through positive interaction.
• Encourage good personal hygiene and healthy daily habits.
• Organize and supervise indoor and outdoor activities, such as reading, storytelling, arts and crafts, music, and games.
• Observe children's behavior and development and respond to their individual needs.
• Keep children's play areas, bedrooms, and belongings clean and organized.
• Communicate with parents about the children's daily activities, behavior, progress, and any concerns.

Requirements:

• Language: English
• Education: Completion of Secondary
• Experience:
  • A minimum 1-year experience in childcare is required.
  • Experience is an asset for those who completed any childcare/child education course.
  • First Aid Certificate and Criminal Record checks are required.
