Restaurant Manager – Firmi Foods Inc.

Location: Kitchener, ON (N2H 5A6)

Salary: $70,000–$80,000 per year (negotiable)
Hours: 30–37 hours per week
Schedule: Early mornings, evenings, and weekends
Start Date: As soon as possible

Requirements

• English language proficiency.
• College, CEGEP, or another non-university certificate or diploma (1–2 years), or equivalent experience.
• 2 to less than 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant to ensure efficient service and a positive customer experience.
• Plan, monitor, and control operating budgets, including food, beverage, and supply costs.
• Review menu pricing and recommend operational improvements to support profitability and cost efficiency.
• Lead, supervise, and support restaurant staff, ensuring high standards of performance and customer service.
• Recruit, hire, train, and onboard new employees as needed.
• Prepare staff schedules and ensure appropriate staffing levels for all shifts.
• Monitor cash handling procedures and maintain accurate financial and operational records.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to help employees succeed.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate pricing and purchasing agreements.
• Coordinate catering services and special events, working closely with clients to meet their requirements.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
